Welcome to the Dakota Territory Chapter of the Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers Website
The Dakota Territory chapter covers North and South Dakota as well as members in Wyoming, Montana, and Minnesota.
The Dakota Territory Chapter provides training in the field of Telecommunications that cover Video, Data, and Telephony. The training takes place in a variety of venues all over North and South Dakota. Industry leaders and engineers are invited to speak on topics of interest to our members. These seminars are provided at a low cost and are usually only one day long. In this way the technical personnel at our telecommunications companies can afford the time and resources for good solid training.
In addition The Dakota Territory Chapter also provides proctoring for the Broadband Certification Program under the National SCTE organization, and partnered with the National Cable Television Institute. The National SCTE Organization also provides many training and testing opportunities. Visit their web site for more information.
The Dakota Territory Chapter does not charge annual dues. Our seminar and testing costs are paid by seminar fees and donations.
